The Dreo Smart Air Conditioner not only cools a large bedroom effectively and quickly, it also can be controlled by the app in my iPhone. And, as my son pointed out, the Dreo is a dead ringer for Eve from the movie WALL-E. It even rolls, making for easy moving; something I can’t say about window units.
This cooler disperses cold air up to about 21 feet away, so it’s not a fan you need to keep close. You can control it from across the room with the included remote.

"relatively quiet enough"
I didn't want to mount a unit in the window and this is perfect. It exhausts any excess moisture, is relatively quiet enough to have right in our bedroom and saves us from running the whole house AC when we just want to cool our bedroom at night.

"helps to circulate the air better"
I really like this portable air conditioner. Basement is about 800sqft, and this does a great job keeping it cool, especially during renovations. I really like the vent cover articulates, which helps to circulate the air better. I also like the remote. It's easy, simple to use, and has a nice back light. It comes with everything needed to connect to the window and it worked great. Overall, the unit is fairly quiet and also has an automatic fan setting that adjusts as needed to maintain temperature.
