Radiator Heater OH515

This is an amazing company! I ordered this oil heater at the end of September of 2022, but had never heard of this company before my order. When the heater arrived by UPS, I noticed a small dent in the side of the product. I just thought that it would be ok and started it up. It never heated up that well and I had to set it at its highest temperature of 95...I just thought that was the way it was going to function. After a couple months I noticed a leak under the unit so I contacted Dreo's customer service person. His name is Hector. He was amazingly helpful and said that they would replace the heater. Yesterday I received the new oil heater and immediately plugged it in and what a difference from the first one! But the fabulous thing about this whole experience is how fast and efficiently this company took care of the big issue. I highly recommend this company and their team!

EDIT: A few days after posting my review about the issues I had with this heater, customer service contacted me offering a replacement or a full refund via Amazon gift card or PayPal. I was grateful that they were so willing to communicate and make things right - updating to five stars due to the care they have for their customer base!ORIGINAL: I wanted to love this heater. I really did. It kept me warm during the winter in a house with no central heating. I also expected it to be quiet; that’s why I selected a radiator heater in the first place. But I kid you not, this heater is constantly making snapping or clicking noises every few minutes, waking me up in the middle of the night (and I’m not even a light sleeper). The clicking noises are fast and repeated; like the heater is trying to figure out if it really is the set temperature, kicking the heating element on and off until my roommate was worried I had a bomb in my room. The snapping (Not sure what’s causing that) sounds like a mini gunshot that happens every minute or two. Don’t get me wrong, it certainly works, but I think I’m being driven insane in some Edgar Allan Poe story.

It warms up my large bedroom very nicely. I keep it on low overnight, then with the remote I can crank it up to 78 degrees before I get out of bed. The numbers are easy to see. And you can have it beep when you adjust the numbers or turn off the beeper to adjust quietly. It's nice and sleek and doesn't take up a lot of room.

My little one's 3rd birthday. 100 percent functional, totally silent from out of the box. Packing could use a little extra support; framing the unit meticulously wouldn't negate the extra $5 I'd have to pay! Only very minimal damage to one of the bottom fins of the unit. Probably the delivery company's fault not Dreo's. More than likely this year I'll send my daughter the upgraded model similar features. I can't say enough I researched a lot have used very many and have never been so satisfied with dreo, and the quality of their oil-filled radiator products. I truly believe they are much safer and economical to use then your typical radiant. Kudos to all of you who put in all the work, you're wonderful! Sincerely
