2-in-1 Tower Fan & Heater MC706

I bought two of these for emergency heating because my gas logs are a pain! I have also purchased the tower fab and two smaller floor fans a few years ago. Items are extremely well packaged and quickly heat up. Read the owners manual before using to take advantage of this fantastic combo unit.
They are expensive for a heater but I was able to take advantage of a New Years sale. Worth the extra cost! Buy it!

Now I've used a lot of electric heaters, both for supplemental heating in my home and in a greenhouse. This is particularly high quality. The construction is excellent. It has a built in thermostat, which allows it to cycle on and off (though that is never as useful as an external thermostat mounted away from the heat source). It also has a fan only option, which makes this great for when it's cold and also when it's hot. I do wish the thermostat could be adjusted below 41 F, because I wanted to use this in one of my greenhouses to just prevent freezing. It is pretty easy to carry around if you want to go somewhere else with it, though it is a lot taller than many other electrics. That height comes in handy, because the heat (or cooling fan) blows the air across a larger area. Oh, the base is a little flimsy, but it's not a big deal. They made the base in two pieces so it would fit in a smaller box, and you have to connect the base together. It's easy, but that's why it's a little flimsy. Great product overall, and highly recommended!

Item came as described. Requires some minimal assembly. Works well to heat the room. Comes with a remote control so you can adjust from your chair or bed. Seems made very well and has a nice aesthetic appeal. Price point seems in line with items of this type and quality. Very nice heater.

This is my second Dreo product I’ve ordered (my first was a window AC unit for my home office that I absolutely love). I live in a fairly long one story house. Some parts of the house just simply do not get the kind of heat the middle of the house does (nor the AC levels during the summer months). I don’t normally like the sweltering kind of heat where you feel like a dried up prune after putting it on to get the chill out of the room. So this unit is perfect for me. It a gentle heat that’s powered by the fan. It gently pushes warm air through the room instead of baking you and all your parts when it turns on. It definitely does a great job taking that chill out before I hop under my covers for the night. I like the features and it works well as it’s intended to. It is pretty quiet while running. I have it shut off about 20 mins after I fall asleep and it doesn’t disturb my slumber at all turning off or being on. I’m not quite sure it’s a full value for the money at $169. It doesn’t have any smart features (not compatible with Alexa and no app). I might just be spoiled from my other Dreo machine. But it’s not bad for what it is. It does what it promises to do.
