1. Make sure that the cord is connected to a powered outlet and that the mains voltage corresponds with the voltage indicated on the humidifier. 2. The humidifier will shut down automatically in the event of low water. 3. Check if the water tank is installed properly. 4. In Auto Mode, the humidifier will stop adding moisture when it reaches the room humidity target.
Why is the humidifier not misting?
1. Turn the mist level to a higher setting. 2. The base has too much water. Empty the base and refill the water tank (not the base). 3. Please check whether the air inlet is blocked. 4. Make sure the nozzle is not blocked. 5. Make sure the humidifier is on a flat surface. 6. The water temperature may be too low. Turn the mist level to the highest setting and let it run for a while, then adjust to the desired setting. 7. If the water tank or base has been washed with detergent, rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining detergent.
Why does water leak from the humidifier?
1. Make sure to remove the wrap. 2. Fix the left prong on the bracket, then slide the other prong to secure the float in place. 3. Remove any particles or hair blocking the water valve. 4. Individually inspect the water tank and base to see if there are any visible cracks. 5. Make sure the humidifier is placed on a flat surface.
Why did the water tank crack suddenly?
1. Please check if the water tank has been dropped during previous use. 2. Please check if the essential oils have been added directly to the water tank. Because essential oils are corrosive, this may cause the tank to rupture.
Why hasn't the room humidity increased? (The humidifier is working properly and you can see the mist.)
1. Impact of Ambient Temperature: Relative humidity is temperature-dependent. The same amount of humidification at a higher room temperature results in lower relative humidity (warm air can hold more water vapor than cold air). For example, maintaining 60% humidity at 20°C requires twice the humidification compared to 10°C. If the room temperature is significantly higher after using an air conditioner than when using a heater, it is normal for the relative humidity not to increase. Air conditioners often release warmer air, which may feel drier on the skin compared to the more comfortable warmth produced by heaters. 2. Influence of Environmental Ventilation: Excessive ventilation, such as opening doors or windows, allows external air (either humid or dry) to directly impact ambient humidity. 3. Impact of Placement: Check if the humidifier's humidity detection is facing an air conditioner vent, potentially causing higher temperatures near the humidifier. Ensure the humidity sensor is not obstructed by walls or objects, as poor air circulation can lead to minimal humidity changes. 4. Influence of Environmental Space: Larger spaces require more humidification to achieve noticeable changes in humidity levels. We recommend placing the humidifier on an unobstructed tabletop or floor and avoiding direct positioning toward the air conditioner or heater vents for optimal performance.
Why is there white dust/white film around the water tank and humidifier?
In areas with hard water containing elevated levels of calcium and magnesium ions, it's conceivable for the water spray to transport these minerals, leading to their deposition near the machine and the formation of a film. 1. Please descale the humidifier regularly. 2. Using purified or distilled water can help prevent the formation of scale.
What does the E1 code mean?
1. E1 indicates the temperature and humidity sensor abnormality. 2. Short circuits, loose internal wires, and water in the base of the product may cause E1 problems. 3. Please try to pour out all the water from the humidifier and let it dry for 48 hours, then test it again.
Why does misting produce an unpleasant smell?
1. Use purified or distilled water only. It is not recommended to use tap water. 2. Change water regularly to avoid dirty water accumulation. 3. Clean the humidifier and keep it down for 12 hours with the cover detached. 4. Clean the aroma pad tray, and change the aroma pad.
Why does the humidifier use the water too quickly?
1. Set the mist level to a lower setting. 2. The humidifier uses up water based on the environmental temperature and humidity. If your environment is cold and/or dry, the humidifier will run out of water faster.
Why does the humidifier make a loud or unusual noise?
1. Ask the customer to provide a video clip. Abnormal noise confirmation for replacement. 2. The humidifier may malfunction. Please send a short video.
Why are there condensation forms around humidifiers or windows?
Humidity may be too high. Please try to turn down the mist level and turn off the humidifier, or open a door or window to the room.
Why has mold grown inside the humidifier?
1. Clean the water tank and base chamber regularly. 2. It is recommended to use purified water to slow down the growth of mold. 3. Arrange a replacement.
Why is there no smell after adding essential oil?
1. Make sure you’ve added 10 or 15 drops of oil into the base chamber. 2. For best results, please use pure essential oil. 3. Replace your aromatherapy pad regularly.

I bought this for my small music room where I keep my valuable acoustic guitars which are sensitive to humidity. This humidifier looks great, is simple to use and keep clean. It appears to be working fine although the humidity reading is a full 10% higher than my little hygrometer is displaying. I’m unsure which is correct.
I swear I should be a brand ambassador for Dreo, as I now own multiple fans, heaters and now humidifiers from them. I have been watching a lot of baseball this month so I apologize for the odd analogy but Dreo is like that number one starter you bring into when you know you need a win. Their stuff is just so reliably good and this humidifier is no exception. You can either just run it or set it to a specific humidity level which is why I do. It kicks out a ton of mist. I set the humidity too high the first night I had it (we turned on the heat for the first time this season) and my bedroom was like a steam room almost when I woke up. Like all their stuff, this humidifier is well made, easy to maintain, and a great value. Buy this humidifier with confidence and look for anything else in this space from Dreo. They are the ace of my homes air line up for sure. Recommend.
I'm normally not a huge fan of cool mist humidifiers. As antediluvian as it sounds, I still prefer warm steam vaporizers like the one Vicks makes, or at least one that treats the water with UV light like the Winix L200. Microorganisms thrive in water, so the last thing you want to be doing while making your air more healthy to breathe is introducing germs into the air.
Similarly, one little trick I've learned over the years is to use filtered waterI find that ZeroWater is by far the best as far as not introducing minerals that clog up your machine and which you ultimately end up breathing in.
That said, if you're going with a cool mist humidifier, this one is pretty good. It's got a nice, modern design, and even though Dreo is based in Shenzhen, China, they do a much better job than most at providing support in the way of a toll-free number, an e-mail address (that's not an Outlook address) and a Web site. It gives me a lot more assurance that they'll honor their 12 month warranty vs. no-name products. I really hope American and European brands can wake up and start producing high-quality, low-cost products like this.
The product comes neatly packaged, with tape securing the clear plastic basin to the unit, and styrofoam protecting some of the inside during shipment. There are clear instructions on how to remove all of these (although don't make the same mistake I did and start tugging at the yellow tape; remove the entire basin first). There's even a little cleaning brush and three total pads where you can put essential oils.
Operation is pretty simple once you figure out the four buttons. One is to turn it on, one is to turn the light on and off, and one is to set it to auto so that when your room reaches a certain humidity level. The operation is pretty silent, and the light (which is more of a green-aqua color in my case) is mesmerizing when you see the bubbling. I like how it switches to standby automatically when the water level is low. I'm not sure of the accuracy of the humidity meter; the unit says my room is at 41% when my thermometer says 34%. But close enough, I guess.
One thing I wasn't thrilled to learn is that (of course) they have a consumable called a "water cartridge" that you evidently need to replace every few monthsas with air filter companies, they want you hooked on their product so that they can make money off of you indefinitely by buying these replacement cartridgeswhich is of course proprietary. The problem is, there's nowhere in the manual that says what this consumable is or what it does (I had to search on the Web to find that it's something that prevents mineral build-up, again, something you can manage to a certain extent by using purified water). The cynic in me thinks that they're hoping you'll be happy with the product so much that you don't think twice about paying $45 a year for replacement cartridges to maintain this thing (which probably cost you less than that upfront). Or for not too much cost, you can always buy a new Vicks warm steam humidifier every year for less money (!)
Overall, a decent product. I could have done without the disposable part (or at least would have liked if they provided alternatives), but it seems to be working fine.
The winters get really dry here in Michigan and I was searching for a Humidifier to place in a small bedroom where my guitars are stored. Decided to try the Dreo Humidifier and I could not have made a better choice. It's quiet and really easy to set, adjust and control with the remote application that the vendor provides. I can set the humidity level, turn the unit on and off, all from my iphone app as well as view various metrics. My guitars are happy and so am I. Don't hesitate to give this Humidifier a try. I believe you'll be quite pleased with the results.
I was looking for a small, inexpensive room humidifier and I've tried a few. I will keep this one. It's super easy to use and more importantly, it's super easy to clean and there are no hard to get to places. I'm very happy with this purchase and would purchase it again.
I was skeptical about this humidifier being able to keep the bedroom from drying out. We live in the desert in Western Nevada, and have very low humidity. It works very well, and will run for about 4 hours on a half-gallon of distilled water. It has an auto shutoff for low water lever and is very easy to use. It is pleasant on the eyes if you use it as a night light too.
holds a lot of water and can run all day. the mist is very strong and quickly brings up the humidity in my room for my plants. the display is very convenient to have as well
We love our humidifier and use it nightly. It's very quiet and the size it perfect for a bedroom. It's easy to fill, but I do wish the lid didn't drip when I take it off to refill the reservoir.
No issues as of yet. I bought 2 of these with the Antimicro filters and they have been amazing. My son and I were very sick for a while. This has made a WORLD of difference. After looking through many many many options this was the best. They are easy to fill, easy to clean, and they have the auto sensor which is a huge help. It’s silent, there’s no noise at all honestly. It keeps the temperature perfect during the summer especially when the air is dry. I definitely recommend this to anyone. It’s worth the money at less than $40 compared to other brands with no filters or bad filters.
Did not open it. It just wasn't big enough for my big bedroom. Also, my water is hard, and I don't feel like paying $1.50 a gallon for distilled water.
Great, compact, apartment friendly humidifier. I bought mainly for my plant collection that needs more humidity in NYC in the winter. Has been working wonders. Love it.
Whisper-quiet with a built-in humidistat! The top lifts off completely making filling easy and quick. Most importantly, it's very, very easy to clean. I'm a man with larger than average hands and I can reach into the tank and clean every edge, crevice and surface with a towel. Not only that, for a thorough cleaning, each part of the unit is designed to separate from the tank or base with just gentle/slight force.
Thanks to Dreo for their design: keeping this model clean is ridiculously easy! Honestly, you would have to be in TOTAL idgaf mode to allow microbials, mineral deposits and any other microscopic nasties to find a home anywhere in this humidifier.
I highly recommend this product. My son had a cold with congestion, a runny nose, and cough. He wasn't sleeping well at all until I got this product. The first night of using it with the steam coming out in his room. he slept! Love this and recommend it!
Small size fits nicely on my side table. Easy to use and clean. Control allows me to control the amount of humidity and shuts off automatically when reached. Perfect for my living room where I spend most of my day.
I love this humidifier! I’ve had many before that were a pain to clean and difficult to fill without spilling.
This one is so easy clean, so easy to fill, and I love that I have better control of the humidity.
And the best part, no annoying lights while you’re sleeping if you don’t want them.
My family previously purchased the Vick’s humidifiers and couldn’t have been more disappointed. Stepping up to these were a DREAM. These are so amazing, they’re controlled from your phone when away, the app is great and gives you access to all of the specs that you need and the output and tank size is the best. I love the option to put essential oils on the filter and rum it with the mist. 0 complaints!!
I was worried about it getting moldy and was cleaning it daily, and my husband thought that was ridiculous (and he's a clean freak). I've let it go for over a week, and I've yet to see any signs of mold. I use distilled water only.
The humidifier's User Manual contained a long small brush made specifically for cleaning it. The directions for use and cleaning were clear. They included some Do Nots, like never submerge This product's makers thought it out
This Dreo Humidifier is exactly what we needed for our home. I have used it in our bedroom, den and living area at times. It is easy to fill, easy to clean plus you can adjust the amount of water you choose to use each time. I highly recommend this product.
