Not perfect for an RV, but it's hard to find one that is (Dreo, please take notes!)

A perfect heater for an RV is tiny but powerful. This is both of those things. It also has a removable filter on the back - which is perfect for those with pets in the RV. It also has a remote, which is excellent, and the 70 degree oscillation is even better than those with 90 degree, because in most RVs, if you swing too wide, it will be blowing at a wall or furniture, since there isn't much room. What is not perfect is that the ECO mode (the only mode with a thermostat) does not give you the option of limiting the power to only the low power setting. It cycles between high and low power on its own - which is fine when you're on a 30 amp circuit. But for those of us in RVs, we sometimes have to settle for a 20 amp circuit, or even a 15 amp circuit (e.g., when you plug in at a friend's house). Since ECO can cycle to high power (especially until the room temp gets close to the set point), you are likely to trip your friend's circuit breaker, especially if you are not the only thing on that circuit. I know - I've done it. ECO mode is fine, but there should be a thermostat controlled low-power mode that covers the option of limited current available for your heater. It would be easy to do - just create a mode like ECO that is low power only. Sure, it would take longer to get your RV up to temperature, but you'd not trip the breaker. In a house, especially your own house, you have control over what is plugged in, but at a friend's house, or in an RV park that doesn't have 30 or 50 amp options, keeping the current down is critical. So to use this heater in an RV where you're running off 15 or 20 amp circuits, you have to put it in H1 mode, and it will heat until you turn it off, and then on, and then off - manually. So now when I visit my friend, I am taking an older, much simpler space heater that has an analog thermostat that runs on both low and high power options, with no filter, no remote, no oscillation, and no way to precisely dial in a temperature. Dreo, please add this feature to make this better for those in an RV!

Works great, tactile buttons would be nice

I've only had the heater for a few days when I got the email request for a review. There was a bit of a smell for the first hour or so which went away. Otherwise, it's working great now. My previous heater was about 7 years old and kept shutting itself off after just a few minutes unfortunately. Hoping this one will last longer! Or I hope I'll be able to repair when the time comes. I hate contributing to landfills unnecessarily.
This DREO heater was very easy to setup. I've tried the motion sensor option and it works. I like that there's an always on, and timer options too.
I'm glad the display turns off after about 30-60 seconds so it's not distracting if I'm watching TV at night. However, I wish I could actually feel the buttons in case I want to adjust without turning on the lights. The buttons are just smooth on the top. I've bought tactile stickers from elsewhere to put on and help me find buttons in the dark, but they haven't arrived yet.

Great!!!

I got this to put under my desk at work. It’s FREEZING in there. This thing not only looks great, it works wonderfully. I used it my whole shift today. I’m so glad I got this over all the others I was considering. It’s perfect size and put out a ton of heat. The remote is a nice feature my old one didn’t have. :)

Compact & Competent

Easy to set up with easy to follow written instructions. It’s a small sized heater, but it works effectively for my bedroom in my apartment. The remote is super helpful, and I love the assortment of settings for customizing it. The timer is also great! I’ve had it for about a week now I think? But based on what I’ve had so far & the plethora of positive reviews over time, I have confidence that this heater will continue to be exactly what I need.
